Reversing Rolls

Reversing Rolls is a one sheet 4-page zine to gamify your goals and help incentivize motivate you to complete them by making a competition (or challenge for solo) out of your goals. You'll roll dice, strategically place them, and hope to accomplish the things you normally procrastinate in order to get your dice on to the right side of the line by the end of the week and win!  

The game can be played on tabletop with dice as markers (picture one) or alternatively you can hang it on the refrigerator (picture two) and place magnets on the numbers rolled and adjust the magnets throughout the week. We liked leaving it on the refrigerator as it was up out of the way but also somewhere easily visible to keep it fresh in our minds to play.

Added 7/22/23: Lyz and Rynnnie played the game this week and made an awesome video of their results. I loved watching it! Rynnnie and Lyz printed it out in black and white. Then Rynnnie highlighted the rows and goals different colors so that they could more easily differentiate them while they played. So I added a Rynnnie Edition pdf. that changes the player board to a white background and the dice rows are set up in rainbow colors, with each row matching a numbered goal line so it's easier at a glance to know which track you're moving. I also added a printer friendly version for those that print in black and white. *Rynnnie Edition is pictured in the 3rd photo.

The Hyper 1 HOUR Game Jam

This game was created for Hyper 1 HOUR Game Jam #15 (Roles Reversed). They're every Friday at 6pm eastern and Lýz livestreams them, including the theme reveal and playing entries after. She's super fun and encouraging and awesome!

I didn't quite make the hour deadline but wanted to finish and post it anyway because I liked the idea the prompt inspired.
